Walking in the Reign 6 - Life is Now A Victory Parade

Revelation 1:18 NKJV
18 I  am  He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hell and of Death.

While I Was dead......... I took back what the devil stole from you! What was it? Keys = Authority. Authority over death, hell, the devil, demons, evil spirits, sickness, weakness, poverty! I took back the reign of Satan, the dominion of Satan, authority of Satan! Many think it is a mystery what Jesus did for the three days following his death on the cross. But Jesus made it very clear where he would be during those three days.

Matthew 12:40 NKJV
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.


There was some business that had to be taken care of on behalf of man. Man's sin debt had to be paid in full and all of man's sins were placed on Jesus on the cross. The sky grew dark and God had to turn away and take his presence away from his son. Then the Bible tells us that he gave up the ghost, or his spirit left his body. Many do not realize where Jesus spent those three days, but we get the answer straight from the mouth of Jesus himself above. Jesus said, "For three days and three nights he would be in the heart of the earth."

There he would break the authority of Satan for good for all mankind. There the keys and authority that Satan had stolen would be taken back and man would now have his position with God fully restored. Though we do not have details of all three days that Jesus spent in hell Paul's Epistles gives us an idea of what took place. Colossians 2:15 tells us that he spoiled principalities and powers and made a public show of them openly. Some devil stomping took place for those three days. Then on that third day, when the Father said, "That's long enough", the power of God was released and Jesus was raised to life by the Spirit of Life.

Thinking about this will cause you to rejoice in the Lord and all that he has done. He literally went to hell with the sins of the whole world and dropped off those sins in hell. They are still there today and they are marked "paid in full". When the enemy tries to bring up your past sins and tries to condemn you with the past, just remind him that they are sitting in hell even now, paid for forever! That is why God can look at a person in Christ and see them as righteous! The price really has been paid completely! Your old sins do exist today, they exist in the center of the earth where Jesus dropped them off never to be counted against you again! So, what is left for you? Enjoy the victory that was purchased for you!

Romans 6:9 NKJV

9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

The dominion that God gave to Adam and Eve in the beginning is now given back to man once again. Once you are 'in Christ', as Paul liked to say so often, death and the kingdom of darkness no longer have dominion over you! You now have the ability to bind and to loose on the earth again. You now have the power that is in Christ. This is not something you will get one day, but it is something you have now!

Life is now a Victory Parade:

2 Corinthians 2:14 NIV
But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory]

The triumphant Reigning king is leading the procession (the victory parade)!! Where are we? We are part of the parade and procession! Doing what? Parading the victory! Spreading the knowledge that now in Christ I have reigning authority! I have victory! I have dominion!Spreading everywhere I go the knowledge of Him, His victory, His Reign! So everywhere I go the victory parade goes!

Jesus, our Great King, the King of kings is leading the way in this great procession as the Reigning Champion. Today we have great parades for Super Bowl champions and World Series champions. The team generally leads the parade and then they are followed up by marching bands, cheerleaders and others that were some part of that team or those that just join in on all of the celebration! What is their job? Just fall in line and celebrate that there has been a victory to celebrate.

Our job as believers, as part of this procession or parade, is to get in line and start acting like the victory has been won! Waving to all with a big smile on our face and proclaiming the victory that was won for us by our Jesus. We would not look right in this procession with a frown on our face, or a long sad look on our face. Those in this parade would probably not be whining and complaining, instead there would be a joy and rejoicing in this parade.

The Amplified Bible says that we are actually trophies of Christ victory! Believers are seen in the eyes of God as trophies. He has shined you up and placed you in this world as a display of his victory! No one hides a trophy but he puts that trophy out where all can see it. We are called to shine in this dark world and everything has been done for us by Jesus to set us apart as victorious!

Aroma of victory

Victory smells good! Make sure you are giving off the right aroma everywhere you go! The Bible tells us here that when we spread the knowledge of what Jesus has done for us it will actually smell good and be attractive to those that hear it. It stinks to give off an aroma of defeat, complaining, whining and murmuring. Those actually have no place in a believer! Giving off the right aroma can draw people to you. Giving off a foul aroma can drive people away.

The gospel smells good. It is called the good news! When we proclaim the gospel properly it will draw others. And my oh my do we have some good news for the world around us!

Part of your Walking in the Reign is taking your place in Christ victory parade and proclaiming that victory to all those around you! Every where you go in this life you are taking His victory parade with you! Let the world around you know that if they are tired of living in defeat they can join you in this victorious life simply by getting into Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17- if any man be 'in Christ', he is a new creation. The old has gone and the new has come!

Walking in the Reign 5 - The Reigning Champion of the World

Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Last week we talked about IN MY NAME meaning literally in his AUTHORITY! He shared his righteousness with us and shares his authority with us! As a part of his body I now enjoy the benefits of his reign. IT NOW BECOMES MY REIGN! We now partake of His victory and it becomes ours when we take our place 'in Christ'. Jesus is literally telling us that what he has done has changed things forever! We now live in His authority, in His reign and in His victory!

Revelation 1:18 KJV
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Keys represent authority. Keys can give you authority to access things that others can not access. I have authority over hell and I have authority over death and over the kingdom of darkness. Satan had stolen mans authority to reign. He took the keys and the authority from man! No man was a MATCH for him to take the authority and keys back! Until one came along born of a virgin, in a manger, conceived by the Holy Spirit. HE WAS UP TO THE CHALLENGE!

In fact, Jesus came into this world to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). When he took those keys back from Satan he destroyed his rule and his reign on the earth. He took back what the enemy had stolen from man. It was all part of the master plan. Jesus had to die, conquer death, hell the grave and rise again triumphant. Now Jesus possessed the keys and the authority and has been exalted as the Name above every name. But Jesus did all of this for man, who could not do it for himself. He did not take the keys back just for himself, he took the keys back FOR MAN.

You now have the keys and the authority:

Matthew 16:19 KJV
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

He took the Keys only so that he could give the keys. I now give unto you the authority to enter into the Kingdom --- Kings Dominion. Start binding start loosing! As a part of my Reign! Sounds like to me he took some keys and took some authority back, in order to give it to us! Overlooking this truth is to overlook the plan God had from the beginning. We are now reconciled to God through Christ. We now partake of his victory that was purchased for us!

Jesus did not just take the keys and the authority back from Satan and then take his seat in heaven at the right hand of the Father. No, the Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 that he raised us up together and seated us together with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Now, not only has Jesus put all things under his feet, but he has put all things under the believers feet as well. You have been raised up far above all the powers of darkness. You have been given the keys the authority and the position to reign in life!

THE TRIUMPHANT REIGNING CHAMPION!

Colossians 2:14-15 KJV

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

The reigning champion is the one who assumes the place of champion!  The one who occupies a throne reigning in power! In boxing their is a challenger and there is a reigning champion! There is one in the ring that is the Reigning Champion and another in the ring who is the challenger. Too often we see ourselves as the challenger and develop a victim mentality. Not, so you are now the reigning champion because of what Jesus has done. No more are you the victim, but you are now the victor!

THERE'S ONE ONE THE PLANET THAT IS THE CHALLENGER and THERE IS A REIGNING CHAMPION! YOU! You are not a victim, you are the victor! You are not the challenger you are the REIGNING CHAMPION OCCUPYING A SEAT OF AUTHORITY! In order for you to be removed from your Reigning CHAMPION status the challenger would have to fight through millions of angels, go through the blood if Jesus, come into the throne room of God and remove you from occupying Reigning Champion status! How did that work out for him the last time he talked about taking that seat? He was no match, fell like lightning!

From your seating of Reigning Champion of the WORLD the devil is no match for you! HE IS UNDER YOUR FEET! You are now, in Christ, the Reigning Champion of the World!

Walking in the Reign 4 - In My Name

Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Name here is not a title, it is not a catch phrase, it is not a magic word that will produce results! You do not get results when you pray just by saying in Jesus name. If so, we would see a lot more results. Name here denotes authority. "In my Authority you will cast out devils........etc" In Christ not only does Jesus share his position of righteousness, with that position you also share HIS Authority! Without the revelation of the Authority you have in Jesus the name does not benefit you.

Acts 19:13-16 NKJV
Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?” Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

These men thought they had learned of a new Magic word in which to practice their sorcery. In those days magicians were very popular and they seduced many with acts of magic. They learned the hard way that using Jesus name as a title or a catch phrase does not get results. They had seen Paul get results using the AUTHORITY he had IN JESUS, but they had no authority in that name. No place in Jesus' authority.

They called on the name, or attempted to use the name of Jesus, and not only did they get no results, but they actually got beat down and ran out of the house wounded and naked. Many today are not getting results using the name of Jesus because there is no revelation of what it truly means. It's not a title, but it is in his authority that we will do the works of Jesus.

1 Samuel 17:45-46 NKJV

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

David knew he had a covenant with God. I come to you in the authority of the Lord of host. What do you do with a giant in front of you? You come at that Giant sickness in the Autority of Jesus! You come at that Giant bill in the Authority of Jesus! You come at that Giant spirit of fear in the Authority of Jesus!

Proverbs 18:10 NKJV The name of the Lord  is  a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. (The authority of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and they are safe!)

Your strong place is in the Authority of the Lord! In his authority you are safe! In his authority you are to take your place in that authority! A man in Christ must take his place and that place is a very real place where we tap into the authority that he purchased for us!

In the Authority of Jesus you can walk in his Reign on this earth!

Walking in the Reign 3 - Earth, Man's Dominion

Revelation 5:9-10 NKJV
And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign ON THE EARTH.”

Reign (dominate, take control, exert influence) on the EARTH!

Too many believers think that their best days are coming after they die. However, man was not created to die. The intent was for man to grow Gods kingdom on the earth. Gods intent was not that Adam ever leave the Garden of Eden, but that the garden expand throughout the EARTH. The earth is man's to rule, to dominate and to control and has been from the beginning.


Genesis 1:26- Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; LET THEM have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."


LET THEM in the verse above is extremely important for our understanding of the entire Bible. If God had said let US have dominion the whole Bible would be totally different. God would have seen the enemy come into the garden and he would have exerted his authority and he would have used it to run the devil out of the garden. He did not do it because he is a God of his word and he will not act contrary to his word. Why didn't he stop it? He said LET THEM have dominion, control and influence over all the earth. 


If God were to step in to take dominion and control on this earth it would make him out to be a liar. We all know he is not a liar. He has exalted his word above his name. It is also why Jesus had to come in the flesh as a MAN. Man lost the dominion and a man would have to get it back. God told Satan this from the beginning, "From the seed of the woman I will crush your head." Why wouldn't he just crush his head right then? He couldn't. Satan was on the earth, and man was given the earth as his place of dominion.


Many would say that this sounds like blasphemy. God is in control completely. However, it is just not true completely. It is truth that will make you free, and the closer one gets to truth it makes things more and more understandable. The entire creation of this universe was with MAN in mind and the Kingdom of God's expansion in mind. The earth was created FOR MAN. It is God's gift to MAN.


Earth has been given to Man:

Psalm 115:16 NKJV
The heaven,  even  the heavens,  are  the Lord's; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

To give someone something is to completely give over control. A few years ago I gave a convertible car away to a youth in our church. I handed the keys over to him and I didn't keep a set of keys. I do not go take control of it when I want to. It belonged to me and I gave it away. It is now totally and completely in his control. Why? I gave it to him! God has created this earth for man to dominate and control and take dominion. What an awesome God to give MAN a planet!

Not only has God given us the earth but he gave provision to man with ALL he would ever need to carryout his mission & purpose on earth. When you create something you create it with purpose. The earth was created with a purpose and Man was created with purpose. This planets primary purpose is to serve as mans dominion.

So you can see that all of creation was created with Man on Gods mind! The moon serves its purpose FOR MAN (gravitational pull)! The sun is serving a purpose FOR MAN by providing the energy needed for survival! Every star serves a purpose FOR MAN! All of creation was created FOR MAN! Every animal, every plant, it was all placed here with man in mind. We breathe out, the trees take it in and convert it into air suitable for man to breathe and exist.


Once we get this revelation we will see just how much our God loves us! For God so loved MAN that he gave his only son! You are of great worth and value to God! You are not unworthy, which means without worth! Religion may tell you that, but God thought enough about you to give you an entire planet.

Genesis 1:1-25 was God setting up MAN! You could read each verse and add 'for man' and not at all be out of line with scripture. The entire galaxy and galaxies are in perfect working order in order to serve man on earth. With everything perfectly placed with earth the center point and focus and MAN being its sole purpose!

The Sun: an exact 93 million miles from earth. Our closest star! The sun heats the earth and drives all weather cycles. 100 million earths would fit in the sun! It is the life giving source to earth.

Man is not just an insignificant small part of a vast creation. Man is Gods purpose for creation. 

Many say, "I am just a speck of dust in a huge cosmos. How could I really be of much value?" Be careful when you say things like that, the devil could be talking and influencing talk like that! No, it will leave you in WOW and in Wonder as to how much God loves you and cares for you when you realize everything you see God made it for you and he gave it to you to Reign over!

Now Revelation 5:10 becomes a lot more clear. The earth is man's playground! Man's dominion and under man's control. We know that man handed that authority over to Satan, but Revelation 5:9 tells us that the blood of Jesus has now put man back into his rightful position to REIGN once again. And what God has given you he has given you completely. You have been put back into your rightful place once again! Just as if Adam and Eve had never sinned, and actually even better!

I think it's time for you to walk in YOUR REIGN!

Walking in the Reign 2 - Blood Purchased

Revelation 5:9-10 KJV
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and has redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

His blood redeemed you & his blood kinged you. Not only were you redeemed but you were crowned a king! His blood made you royalty and righteous! Many know about being redeemed, but few have knowledge of being kinged. Jesus blood was not shed simply so we could get a ticket to heaven! His blood was enough to also get you access to heaven on earth.

Covenant of Blood:

Man's Part:

This new testament  is a new covenant it is a blood covenant. In a blood covenanant each party involved generally has something to offer to the other. Man offered God the access to establish his kingdom again on the planet. Too many think they have nothing to offer God. 'I am just so unworthy, a worthless worm.' However, without man God would actually not have the ability to expand his kingdom on the earth. He chose man as the one with dominion from the beginning and he would not just simply go back on his word.

Now you can see you are of much value to God! You are so valuable unto God that you represent kingdom expansion everywhere you go!! God's purpose for creating the earth was to expand his kingdom of heaven to the earth. Adam and Eve were told to increase and multiply. In actuality God's man was not intended to be kicked out of the garden, but the garden was intended to expand all throughout the earth.

God's Part:

In return God offered man all that he had. Taking away your defeated status and giving us his king status! Such a big covenant to God that it was cut in his own blood! That's why unto God you are a king! He sees the covenant that was cut by his own blood ever before him. So, UNTO GOD you have been made a king! Covenant is very serious in the eyes of God. God decided to give us all that he had and his very best when he offered his part of the covenant.

Hebrews 8:6
But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

You have been made a king with ruling and reigning authority restored by a new covenant. So what do you bring to the table? Literally the ability to make the kingdom of god the dominating ruling force wherever you are! However you must participate in your part of the covenant! Your part? Put on your crown, take your seat with Jesus and reign!

Often times a poor family that had great fighting skills would cut a covenant with a wealthy family to share each others strengths. Theses days covenants are cut but with a signature! (cleaned it up a little) Go to the bank with a desire or something you would like to access - car, house etc. Your part enter into an agreement. Banks job put up all the goods necessary and make the purchase, then give it to you! The bank will not drive the car for you! Now what do you have to do to enjoy your covenant? Take your seat, crank it up, drive the car and doing so it will take you where you need to go!

You have entered into an agreement by putting your name in the lambs book of life! God purchased everything for you by the blood of Jesus! Now what do you have to do? Take your seat purchased for you, which is raised up together and seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6)! Put on the kings crown given to you! And reign, rule & dominate in every area.

Most people like to hang on to the unworthy card! Really only because the enemy has deceived them to think they are worthless! If God calls you a king and gives you authority to reign, who are we to argue with God! Image is everything! You were created in Gods image and in his likeness, so you could be like him! How you see you is more important to you reigning than how you see God.

You will not reign until you see yourself as king! This is must know information for all believers! This is not for full gospel churches! It is for baptist, Methodist, Episcopalians, and all the rest. It is a message for all those who call Jesus Lord, washed in his blood, in covenant with God!

We should be secure in who we are, because it is what God made us! Insecurity has no place in our lives! From this moment forward I encourage you to reign in life by taking your place that was purchased for you by the blood of Jesus! The blood covenant is in place! Now you must take your place!

Walking in the Reign p1

Revelation 5:9-10 NKJV

In this message we will be discussing man's new position after the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. I believe that many think that they only became forgiven sinners once they make Jesus their Lord. However we will see that we got far more than just forgiveness! Thank God for forgiveness, but if we only think we are forgiven sinners then we will likely do less than is expected of us in this life and on this earth!

We can see above that the blood of Jesus redeemed every tribe, every tongue, all people and all nations. There is not a person that the blood of Jesus can not redeem from sin. His blood is for whosoever! And though we could spend a lot of time rejoicing over this truth, the scripture tells us that this is not the only thing that the blood of Jesus has done for us.

We see that the same blood that redeemed us also has made us kings and priests unto our God! I like to say that the blood of Jesus has redeemed you and it has kinged you! Jesus is called the King of kings and now we can see that we are the kings that he is King of! Thank God for the blood of Jesus. It has not only washed away our sins, but once that sin was removed and the blood was applied to our lives we were brought into the family of God as kings, actual royalty!

When were you redeemed? When the blood was applied to your life!
When were you made a king? When the blood was applied to your life!

Since we are now made kings, we continue to read and see that we are to reign ON EARTH! We must not put off our reigning as something we will do after we die and enter into heaven. Yes, heaven will be awesome, but we are to enjoy heaven on earth. Jesus said your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

How will you reign on earth? Being mindful of what the blood actually accomplished in your life! A lack of knowledge in this area will keep you from ruling and reigning on this earth. A limited knowledge of the blood of Jesus will only result in limited results in this life. The enemy will do all that he can do to make you think that you are simply a sinner that has been granted forgiveness, but you, how could you possess the power to rule and reign in life.

Reign: dominating power or influence, royal authority, one in control.

Kings unto God

You may not be a king to anyone else around you. Your family may not see you as royalty. Your old classmates may not see you as royalty. Your neighbor or your boss may not realize that you are royalty, but UNTO GOD you are a king, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. If God sees you as a king, then I believe it would be just fine for you to see yourself as a king! Do not listen to religion and what it calls you! If God said it that should settle it forever in your heart. You should go ahead and say it now, "Unto God I am a king! No longer am I just a forgiven sinner! If God sees me as a king, then I see me as a king!"
Leaving the state of sinner and moved into the classification of KING!

Kings Reign! Kings dominate! Kings take dominion! Kings exert influence! Kings take control!
